I did this for the up and coming Street Fighter Tribute art book from Udon! [link]
When Street Fighter 2 first came to the arcades I was just a young boy. At the time it was the coolest game ever made...crowds would gather around to watch and play! I remember riding my bike for miles to the local QuickTrip so I could spend time with it. I have fond memories of hours spent in the gas station with microwave burritos and Blanka. He was my favorite by far, out of a cast of humans he was the only real "monster". For a beginner he was my first choice, I loved his devastating heavy attacks and his special moves were so easy to pull off, all you have to do is tap the button fast for lightning?! I wanted to capture Blanka's animal ferocity and power with this piece...Posters will be available soon. I also want to invite anyone who can make it to the San Diego ComicCon at the end of July, my first con! I'll be at the Udon booth.
