This hermaphrodite has internal sex organs which produce a fetus that travels along the exterior umbilical cord. The fetus grows and continues down the chord till its reaches the massive jaws of its parent. When the fetus is ripe for harvest the creature will use its tongue to pull it off like a grape from a vine. The parent will usually let the strongest fetus's detach and roll off to become another self sustaining member of the species.
