This is an important piece for me... First of all this is my 100th Deviation! It's also very symbolic...I recently quit my full time job to pursue a freelance career. There was a leap of faith in this decision...The dragon symbolizes the doubts and fears of this decision. The knight symbolizes the courage and focus I must have to be a success. There will no doubt be a collision...Basically this is where I am in my life...Will I be a success and conquer my fears or will I fail?

There's always a princess in the end. And the knight always saves her. You know how it goes.

"From the shards of shattered dreams I rose, unwilling. Tossed upon tides of pain that flowed and ebbed and left me searingly awake and more revoltingly.........Alive."

Feel free to check out my website either my personal one or the one here on deviantart for my drawings paintings and writings you always welcome to drop by and leave a comment or two.
even without your despriction of what this piece means to you the symbolism and title say it all. that aside, the determination and focus of the knight is strongly felt as he charges forward. your art is beautiful and i believe, from seeing your work so far, that the leap will pay off. to repeat an obscure quite "sometimes when you fall, you fly".
you just keep getting better and better. I really get the sense of action and risk you're trying to show here. Also the "S" shape of the dragon is a very smart way to lead the eye all around the painting.
wow.......SHIT!!!! :wow: amazing!
